Chaco Culture National Historic Park
Pueblo del Arroyo. Archeologist find some parallels between the Chacoan architecture and the architecture of ancestral northern Mexican and Meso-American architecture. Archeological artifacts excavated from the puebloan ruins at Chaco have yielded sea shells, macaw and parrot feathers and remains, copper belts, conch shell trumpets, turquoise and other materials that were traded with sources far to the south.
