Speleothems occur in many sizes, depending on their age, or the amount of flow and the rate of travertine deposition over time. This view shows many thin "soda straw" stalactites amongst larger stalactites and columns. The thin, delicate soda straws form one drop at a time and their ends are about as wide as a large drop of water.
