| Lehman Caves is one of the highest "show caves" in the world. Show cave means that trails and lighting were added to make the trails accessible to public tours. The caves are at nearly 7,000 feet elevation. The entrance and exit to the cave have been modified to give visitors easy access to the cave. Although Lehman Caves is not large (relative to Mammoth Cave or Carlsbad Caverns), it is highly decorated with an abundance of formations that make it one of th most colorful and attractive public caves in the West. |
