Tamarisk and cattails thrive along the shores of a pond at Rogers Spring. In the past, native pupfish use to live in the spring but they population was wiped out by the introduction of aggressive varieties of aquarium fish introduced to the spring. Today, non-native fish and turtles thrive in the pond. |
