Aztec Ruins National Monument
The ruins at Aztec show architectural styles of both the Chaco and Mesa Verde pueblo cultures. This suggests that both puebloan cultures had influence on the Aztec community, but at different periods of time. The people during AD 1106 to 1124 had affinities with the Chacoans (for instance, T-shaped doorways are a Chacoan building style). Whereas the structures were remodeled between 1225 and 1240 after the Mesa Verdeans.
