| A recent rockfall is revealed by the light-colored appearance of a escarpment surface and talus blocks of the Santa Elena Limestone. The Rockfall is along the west-facing ridge of the southern Santiago Mountains and located is between Persimmon Gap and Dog Canyon. This view is from along the trail to Dog Canyon. |
