This view is looking north from Grand View Point. Monument Basin capped by White Rim Sandstone is in the lower right. In the distance beyond the high, flat, Hatch Point mesa are the La Sal Mountains, a range of erosional dissected early-to-middle Tertiary volcanic intrusions.
