Mustard Canyon is along Highway 190 about 2 miles north of the Furnace Creek visitor center. This view is looking east from a hill above the Harmony Borax Works across Highway 190 toward the "mustard-colored" hills of eroding Furnace Creek Formation (Pliocene, about 3 to 5 million years). The Funeral Mountains are in the distance.
