Escalante Canyons

View of the Escalante Canyons between the towns of Boulder and Escalante, Utah. Massive white cliff are of Navajo Sandstone (latest Triassic to Jurassic in age). The distant flat-top mountains are of the Pink Cliffs that form the eastern escarpment of the Aquarius Plateau (right) and further distant Paunsaugunt Plateau (left).
