The pinnacle-like towers and massive white granite facade of the temple and associated buildings are perhaps the most visible landmark on the Hayward Fault in the East Bay region. The hilltop location of the temple provides fantastic views of the San Francisco Bay region, as well as the rift zone and shutter ridges formed by the Hayward Fault on which the temple buildings and ground were constructed.
