Fairmont Hospital is a public facility in San Leandro in Alameda County. Some of the original hospital buildings were constructed on the Hayward Fault but were later abandoned or modified, but evidence of the active creep of the fault can be seen on the hospital grounds in the for of cracks in the pavement and older walls, and offset curbs particularly on the east and south side of the main hospital building.
