| This view shows water mains of the Hetch Hetchy water system (water mains #1 and #2) exposed in the vicinity where they cross the Hayward Fault along Grimmer Boulevard near the intersection of Paseo Padre Parkway (near Fremont Central Park). The water mains have been retrofitted and buried in the vicinity of the Hayward Fault nearby. Two other more recently constructed water mains associated with the Hetch Hetchy system cross the Hayward Fault in south Fremont. |
