Clue 1: This national park got its name from the white spires of sandstone that look like buildings in Washington, DC.

Clue 2: The park encompasses much of a great geologic fold, the Waterpocket Monocline, along which steeply dipping sedimentary rocks are exposed in a series of ridges and valleys across southern Utah.
