Wingate Sandstone
Wingate Sandstone typically forms massive cliffs above the shaley Chinle Formation where they occur throughout the Colorado Plateau. This example along Utah Highway 24 between Torry and the Capitol Reef Visitor Center shows the Moenkopi formation on the bottom, the Chinle formation in the middle, and the Wingate formation at the top.
