Devils Tower National Monument
Badlands carved in fossiliferous deposits in eastern Lanfair Valley in the eastern Mojave National Preserve. The tan-colored sediments are interpreted as playa and pluvial lake deposits of Pliocene to Pleistocene age (Theodore and others, 2007; Reynolds and others, 1995).
